Activities

At Bearwood we aim to offer a wide variety of riding activities. We cater for beginners - young and not so young, as well as for experienced and competitive riders.

If there is something you would like to try that is not on this list then please speak to Jan, the manager.

Lessons

We offer a variety of lessons to suit all tastes and abilities:

Private lessons
Group lessons
Jumping lessons
Flatwork lessons
Lunge lessons
Evening lesson times available on Tuesdays, Wednesday and Thursday evenings.

Hacking

At Bearwood we are fortunate to have direct access to miles of off road tracks and we have regular hacks throughout the week and weekend in the surrounding woodland. Private hacks can be arranged.

Clinics

We arrange clinics, often taught by visiting instructors in the disciplines of dressage, show jumping and other areas eg. mounted games.

Pony Days

Pony Days take place regularly in the school holidays for all ages and levels of ability.

They comprise both riding and stable management training and you will be allocated your own pony to look after for the session.

Corporate Parties

Do you work for a company where there are a minimum of 6 employees who would like to learn to ride or take their riding further?
